Vicente Del Bosque named his Spain squad for the upcoming Euro 2016 qualifier against Luxembourg this morning.
Thiago Alcantara, who has now fully recovered from his injury, is recalled, while La Liga player of the month Nolito is also called up.
Chelsea’s Diego Cost, who has had a very poor start to the season, has been cut from the squad.
Juan Mata, who until recently had been a man on the fringes of the squad, is now increasingly looking like a regular, and is being rewarded for his brilliant displays with Manchester United.
